Sacramento County’s Board of Supervisors has approved the first phase of a Climate Action Plan that will provide a framework for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and managing our resources in order to comply with state mandates. Phase 1 focuses on the County’s overall strategy and goals for addressing climate change. It also highlights actions already taken to become more efficient, and targets future steps that will ensure a more sustainable Sacramento for our constituents now and in the future.
